Sandara Park to make the story short by sheer luck won first runner in Star Circle Quest (SCQ), a reality talent search of ABS-CBN network. She garnered 2,000,000 text votes. Sandara became a big showbiz name in the country after she won the Star Circle. Her popularity in showbiz can be proven by her double platinum songs and blockbuster movies. That was her shining moment in Philippines.
Her popularity slowly diminished when Kim Chui, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edison winner took the limelight and the attention focused on her. Sandara tried to be a sexy star but....oh well, she was not for it.
Sandara decided to return to Korea with her mother and other siblings in August 1,2007 to begin a new life and next day, she had a contract with YG Entertainment. Sandara is now a popular member of 2NE1.
