The story of Alice of Wonderland can be traced long time ago. This has been taught in school since elementary. The story created vivid imaginations in the mind when Alice fell down in a rabbit hole. She was in another dimension, in Wonderland. In the end, this turned out to be a dream only. In our human minds, we fantasize also. This pull us from the realities of life.

The story is more of fantasy and according to Wikipedia it is a literary nonsense. Yet for young audience they will love the movie. It is a matter of how the actors will put life into the story. I love Johnny Depp. He is very good projecting a villain image.
