Michael Jackson buried tonight

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop died of a cardiac arrest in June 25, 2009. His remains were not yet buried since his demise. It was supposed to be schedule in August 29 then again for family reason was set on August 31 but the burial was postponed again. Finally, the Jackson Family decided to bury him in a private ceremony in Thursday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California at 7:00 pm, California Time. That is today, Philippine Time. No more thousands of people to witness the interment as when King of Pop was alive performing on stage.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff has approved request of Jackson’s mother, Katherine, to have Jackson’s estate pay for the “extraordinary” expenses for the funeral. Glendale Police stated that service would run upward of $150,000.

Hayden Kho, Now a Women's Right Advocate?

A twist of fate for Hayden Kho? Well, the report that Hayden Kho now a women right advocate almost spin my head that I get dizzy. I am having an instant vertigo that I feel like vomiting. Hayden Kho had several sex scandals attached to his name. The notorious one was sex escapade with showbiz actress, Katrina Halili that circulated in the internet and had become scandalous topic for a while. Senator Bong Revilla had accused him as " sex pervert of a highest kind" and initiated an investigation on the sex video. So what happened now to the investigation?

Kho said that "you'll be seeing a different Kho now"during the launch of the white ribbon campaign for women's rights by the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM).

Is this some kind of a white washing of Hayden Kho to exonerate him of the action done? I don't consider this a crime or any lascivious act because Katrina Halili consented to having sex with him only in the end, because of shame and misdemeanor she cried in public "foul". Being a Women's Right Advocate will it change his image. People from all walks of life would still entertain doubts.

With so many sex scandal publicities that he had been exposed to, do you think many will believe in the integrity of Hayden Kho.

BAYAW gets X from MTCRB

Bayaw Movie starring Paolo Rivero and Janvier Daily get an "X" rating from the fangs of MTCRB on August 27 review because of the frontal nude scenes which is not suitable for young audience. This is again submitted for another review today, September 1. The film was produced by Climax Film and directed by Monti Parungao. This will be shown in two theaters on September 2, 2009.

The uncut version of Bayaw was shown last July 21 during the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. The film was privileged to be shortlisted by the Cinemalaya screening committee to take part in the first Cinemalaya-NETPAC World Cinema competition to be judged by a panel of jurors from across the region. The Cinemalaya-NETPAC World Cinema competition is a sidebar competition formed by CCP to cater to independent producers who will premiere their films during the festival. This is a separate category from the 10 full-length entries that were granted funding by the Cinemalaya organization.
